- MFMichelle Field6 days ago1.0Visted the post office on 20th may. I was returning a parcel. The Lady who served me needs a lesson in manners. Very arrogant Rude staring at me when I said thank you .not once did she use please thank or hello. Then to Stare at me in a very strange unfriendly manner. Simply rude.

- JLJanet LeeAug 23, 20231.0Advertises the passport 'check and send' service - but the counter staff immediately told us that 'nine times out of ten the iPad won't work' and we'd be better off doing it ourselves. We explained that we'd used this service in the past and we'd prefer to pay the additional £16 each to ensure that there were no mistakes or processing delays with our passports. The staff member sighed and said OK, she'd try. She seemed much happier when she told us she was right and it wouldn't work; wifi problems. She suggested we could try going to Billingham Post Office or to the Durham Passport Office. I suggested that she might ask someone to update their website and remove this service, which they cannot provide, so other potential customers don't have to waste their time and money (car park charges). The rather snappy response was that the website was nothing to do with her, that was down to 'management' - and they already knew. Overall, not a pleasant experience and we won't be going back to the Hartlepool Post Off ice.
